Can anyone help with my skin condition?

Hi!

 

Well this is my first time active on here, have

been reading and learning for a couple of months!

 

I have been seeing a dermatologist for about 6

months now...I have spent lots of money with no

results... I thought maybe if I could try something

natural I would have a better chance getting some real

results, so I will explain my condition as best I

can..

 

Since I was a child I have always had some small

" bumps " on my upper arms... unsightly but really able

to cope with... no itching no burning no real

irritation... I must say this condition seems to run

throughout my family. Two years ago I moved from the

Southern U.S.A to Western England (Cornwall), so quite

a change in climate... I seemed to get more bumps than

usual but nothing really outrageous, then I became

pregnant about 6 months after moving here, the bumps

got progressively worse and worse, spreading all over

my arms and a bit on my upper thighs, I thought this

was due to pregnancy, I had my baby ten months ago,

the bumps have now spread to my back, all over my

upper legs, my buttocks, and are just beginning to go

down the front of my lower legs. I tried every

moisturizer on the market... I tried taking a

homeopathic " skin pill " that contained echinacea and

extract of stinging nettle, I stopped using soap, I

exfoliated, I stopped exfoliating, etc.... I then

sought out a dermatologist, he did a punch biopsy,

says it is called " Keratosis Polaris " gave me another

body wash and moisturizer... no help,... changed the

body wash and moisturizer, tried several different

strenghts or retin-A creams... nothing... he does not

know why my condition got worse, he does not know of

any solution, he says it is not psoriasis, nor eczema.

I have stopped going to the dermatologist but would

really like to find a way back to nice smooth skin!

ANY help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated!
