Guest guest
Hi Rosemarie, > I then sought out a dermatologist, he did a punch biopsy, > says it is called " Keratosis Polaris " If it is Keratosis (Keratoma) - There are two commom types: Actinic (or solar) keratosis, which is caused by over-exposure to the sun and the spots may become malignant. AND: Seborrheic Keratosis (or basal cell papillomas) which are also called seborrheic warts, which NEVER become malignant. Since he says yours is Polar - it's the latter type, basal cell ... > any solution, he says it is not psoriasis, nor eczema. > I have stopped going to the dermatologist but would > really like to find a way back to nice smooth skin! > ANY help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated! > Thanks! Rosemarie As these are not viral, and obviously not psoriasis or eczema, I think you'd be better off to continue to go to dermatologists until you find one that can at least help to get rid of the obvious symptoms. If it was viral, there could be some recommendations that " might " help though we'd be hard-pressed to quote any authorative references on it. Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
