Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I think that I`ve stayed silent for far too long! My name is Joyce, I`m 36 and from Ireland. I got interested in aromatheraphy some years ago while trying to find ways to treat my disability, A neuro-muscular condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth. I`m self-taught from books as when I investigated the courses available I couldn`t find even one that wasn`t based mainly on massage. My arms are too weak for massage and I`m more interested in the use of oils (and herbs) for medicinal purposes. Joyce.
Guest guest
Hi Joyce More than half my family live in Ireland and I am hoping to visit them next year this time. If you are thinking about a career in aromatherapy perhaps you could advise corporate companies as to the uses of aromatherapy in the workplace, how to prevent flu & colds, creating a stimulating or calming environment (whatever is needed a the time) or how about making products like bubble baths, pot pourri, candles or soaps for resale? I have never heard of your disability can you give a brief outline and what e.o. helped you?
