Guest guest
Hi Moira Lavender isn't guaranteed to stop snoring (wish it did, I'd be rich). What it does do, especially a lavender grown at or near sea level which would contain more 1,8 cineol and/or camphor, is clear the nasal passages and the sinuses. I suggested lavender to Barbara because her mate has seizures (I think that was it), so basil and eucalyptus might not be such a good idea. To use the lavender, you could do a steam inhalation or even have a bath before bed. Even better though is to put a couple of drops of lavender each side of the pillow - on the edges so you don't actually lie on it, but it can be inhaled all night. Won't hurt the fabric. By the way, Moira, the lavenders grown in this country are great for this, and also for headaches. Helen in Cape Town
