Guest guest
You do NOT want to use the oil of Inula helenium (Elecampane) topically - it has strong sensitizing properties (it will create allergic skin reactions very easily). Having worked with the Frenchies for years, I have always carried Sweet Inule oil. Pricey, but very useful. You can email me for more information. My husband has terrible sinuses....his snoring is so bad I haven't slept in 19 years...I've tried all the 'gadgets' they have to stop a person from snoring...his sinuses are rather closed but he doesn't want any operations. I couldn't use eucalyptus, or some other EO's as my husband had 'petite epilepsy' since childhood and we only discovered what it was when he had an attack on the Paris subway, when some youngsters stole his passport and wallet. He had always been alone when these attacks happened and they always happened on some big stress deal....so no one ever saw it and he only remarked lightly that he'd fainted. anyway, he's cured of it now and I don't want to encourage it back! I was glad to hear about Inula and that I could blend it and put it on topically. I was just about to order some at 21.95 for a 1 ml size...pricey indeed, but gee if it helped....now I'm wondering ...what do you suggest. I have only studied aromatherapy on my own, so I'm not really good at it yet. I'm hoping to get a course here in Tokyo In English, in the autumn....meanwhile I'm reading this exchange diligently....and trying to study more and more. best regards, Barbara Ferretti Matsuura Reiki Master Practitioner ruby.
