Guest guest
Hi there Diane This is my first comment here so take it with a grain of salt... Maggie Tisserand recommends INULA as top of the line for sinus problems. I have not tried it myself and I know it isn't carried by all suppliers. I do believe that Leydet does carry it if you want to check into it. www.leydet.com Hope this helps, Sandra from B.C. > Greetings to you too, Diane, and welcome. > Grapefruit is known as a euphoric oil, so it would lift your mood and make you feel > happy. Thank you, I will certainly look this one up! Do you happen to know how I would use it? Inhalation or in a blend? And what it would blend with? I have a book by Victoria Edwards, the owner of LEYDET, that I recently purchased (and haven't gotten to yet:-) and will see if it is in there, and will certainly check out the site, Thanks! With gratitude, Diane from NJ Ps. I have another question, does anyone know what oil or oils could be used in water as mouth rinse for healing gums? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Diane, Here's what Tisserand says... " .even more spectacular results ( for sinus relief) are obtained from a little known oil called INULA. Inula must be well diluted in jojoba or a nut oil, but when gently rubbed into the sinuses, the infection is cleared up within 24 hours. I have found that only 2-3 applications are necessary. Inula is wonderful for curing sinusitis, whether acute or chronic. Also good for all air travellers and staff when altitude changes affect sinus pressure. " Her recipe: Sinus Rub 1 drop inula 5ml jojoba or sweet almond Spread a small amt. across sinuses Keep me posted Diane. I'd love to know if this helps. Warmly, Sandra - <dturek Wednesday, July 26, 2000 4:50 PM [AX] Re: Greetings! I do not know which one works better. I do know of an Organic source if you email me at: mlmtruth1 Craig Dockter
Guest guest
You do NOT want to use the oil of Inula helenium (Elecampane) topically - it has strong sensitizing properties (it will create allergic skin reactions very easily). Having worked with the Frenchies for years, I have always carried Sweet Inule oil. Pricey, but very useful. You can email me for more information.
