Guest guest
Well Kit, I'd say you're on the right track with the once-a-week massages and the lavender candles. Perhaps your friend could also try a bath oil/milk for last thing at night, to help her sleep. She could put three drops of ylang ylang, three drops of lavender and three drops of sweet orange in a tablespoon of bath milk that has no smell (or even full cream milk), and swish it around in a bath (not too hot). Then get in and relax for fifteen minutes or so ... Inhaling the steam will help as well as the essential oils penetrating the skin. Make sure you get a good brand of essential oils so you know they're the real thing. Yum. Helen in Cape Town My office mate is an extremely stressed-out lady. Between being a single mom in the process of moving in with a really sweet man (whom she's engaged to), and work, and assorted other things, she's so tense it is making her ill. She's also not sleeping that well. I have told her to get her one of those lavender candles for that. I am looking for other scents to encourage her to relax/destress, that sort of thing. I only know lavendar. A few different suggestions would be great, 'cause she's allergic to a great deal of things so this is going to be an experiment. Her doctor's not been much help with this quite honestly. We both visit a massage lady once a week who is just wonderful, and I do notice an improvement in my office-mate after those visits. Any suggestions would be wonderful! Thank You Kit
