Guest guest
Can anyone tell me what books you like for aromatherapy? I saw one that had recipes for oil mixtures based on what condition you were trying to treat--I like that format but didn't buy it at the time. Guest guest
Anything by Valerie Worwood, especially her new one dealing with healing emotions; Daniel Panoel, M.D. (he's up on more of the current studies); Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.d.; and try something really daring/cutting edge - D. Gary Young, N.D. Happy reading, Lynn M C Cracraft [mensa] Friday, July 07, 2000 5:34 AM Can anyone tell me what books you like for aromatherapy? Guest guest
Hi there. For spices and herbs, I usually store them in glass jars for 6 months. After that, it's best to replace them. Loose tea is also best stored in a tin or glass jar. I just use the glass mayo jars, or things of that nature, rather than throw them out. You can also use toothpick jars (I got a bunch at the dollar store); they are great because they have the holy tops! So they are great for spices and herb blends. Use your imagination, you can find lots of ways to recycle your jars and glass things for your herbs and teas. If the jar smells like say spagetti sauce or garlic, first wash it real well then dip it in vinegar and wash again. Anything that is fresh is always best stored in the fridge. Dried items in jars in the cupboard. I'll find a reference list for you though. Hope this helps Diana ~list mom Wednesday, March 02, 2005 7:35 PM Digest Number 244 Message: 1 Tue, 1 Mar 2005 15:54:04 -0800 (PST) relrella <rsaslan question on how to store food, herbs, etc... Hello, I was just wondering if anyone can provide a list of the best storing containers/bags for which food/herb. For example, are loose herbal teas best kept in plastic bags, glass jars, paper bags or how should I store tomatoes, cilantro and onion? In the fridge, in a cabinet, in plastic or paper? Are spices better kept in plastic containers or glass jars, and should I keep my leftoves in a plastic or glass container? I would love if someone can provide a useful list or refer me to a website that discusses this. Thanks so much, rose Take Mail with you! Get it on your mobile phone. I know I'm way late responding to this, but I think there is a special pain in being an empath as well as an RVer. Karla McClaren (McKlaren?) has some wonderful tapes on becoming/being an Empath. It is not something to take lightly and there are skills to develop so you can be at peace in your own skin while knowing that your role is not always to help even though you may "know."
