Guest guest
Reading Theresa Caetta's posting regarding lavender oil for the treament of her foot, reminded me of a similar situation with my daughter's foot. My daughter is a diabetic and foot care is very important. Well, my husband and I noticed that her foot had a bad callous; but,not broken or bleeding. This round patch was very hard, dry and scaly. The diabetic specialist had told us that at her age (7) there was not cause for concern. However, I decided to treat it. I made a concoction (butter) of pure cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil and beeswax. I then added several drop of Tea Tree oil to the mixture. I applied the mixture to my daughters foot for two nights in a row at bedtime & then put socks on her feet. In two days there was a dramatic improvement. I followed the same procedure for another two nights and now you can't tell were the callous had been. The area is smooth and soft. The mixture did not bother my daughter's skin. She did not like wearing socks to bed; but, she like the foot massages! Michelle
