Guest guest
My daughter is suffering from thrush. Does anybody have a recipe to clear/control it. Any suggestions gratefully received. Guest guest
Have you tried using live natural yoghurt on the affect area? It really takes away the itching and discomfort. Although I know that its not the most convenient to apply, but it does provide relief. Also, 100% cotton underwear... or no underwear if the itching is terrible! I have had the same problem in the past from antibiotics!! Good luck & best wishes Yvonne Get personalised at My .

Guest guest
A midwife in town here says she feels that babies shouldn't be given probiotics (or anything else besides breastmilk) since their digestive systems are still forming. That makes perfect sense to me. She says rub the inside of their mouths out with watered-down vinegar or acidophilus. Guest guest
I like simple solutions too. If it works, why do anything else. Ayurveda will also use yoghurt or buttermilk, if you see the extensife notes options/discussions in the files to the left. But her breastmilk only no herbal support or anyting after thousands of years of alternative mediccine physicians and mamas experience? I doubt it needs to be such a black and white dictate. Guest guest
Because of the thousands of years of breastfeeding. Give the mothers the herbs, etc. ---- Martha Oakes 04/14/05 12:46:38 ayurveda Re: Fw: thrush I like simple solutions too. If it works, why do anything else.
