Quite simple. The " English " tradition began via Beauty Therapy, really. Low

doses suggested, little knowledge of the oils. The Frenchies, however, made

it clear that depending on the condition, a higher dose is necessary to

realise DOSE DEPENDENT effects - and are safe as well. Again, you will see

this mentioned in the " Toxicity Myths " paper I have sent to you. If others

are interested in this paper, please contact me.

[AX] varicose veins in pregnancy

Hi again Ron

I don't understand why you are suggesting that 5-10% essential oil in a

blend is a

full dose, and one that can be used in pregnancy. The usual 'dose' is 2

1/2-3%,

and half that during pregnancy and breastfeeding. What you are saying goes

against all information in all the textbooks - so again, where is your

information

from?

Such oils are fine to use in FULL DOSE (5% to 10% concentration) directly on

varicose veins during pregnancy. It is too small of a dose to be concerned

about any supossed toxicity during pregnancy...Such oils include: Cypress,

True Niaouli, Patchouli, Mastick, Lemon Eucalyptus and Calendula CO2

extract, to name a few.
