Hi everyone,

My name is Daniel and I am new here (obvious isn't it? :))).

I am an engineer before I became an IT professional. Now I am

learning about aromatherapy so that I can start a small biz in this

area.

Anyway, I find the discussion here quite interesting and thought

I'd join in the fun. I've used EO occasionally but still learning.

Looking forward to sharing my experience with all of you. I have a

lot to learn.

Btw, does anyone know what is the best means to diffuse EO for full

benefit?

Peace,

Daniel

Greetings Daniel

There are many ways to use EO's depending on what benefit you want at that

time, for example to relieve tense muscles (like sitting at a pc all

day!!!) put them in a nice warm bath, or if you have a cold them vaporising

them would be helpful. There are so many ways but the main use is through

massage.

Have fun

Hi Karen,

The methods you suggested exposes the user to very short 'treatment'

period and usually requires several such treatments to be effective.

Not too mention the difficulty in controlling the EO concentration

intake. Electrical, candle heated diffusers etc allows the EO vapour

to be diffused a longer period but not sure if this is more effective.

I was introduced to a lamp diffuser from Paris. It comes with its own

EO and claims to have air purifying properties as well. I had the

benefit of trying it out at home for 3 days and I simply loved it. In

fact, the whole family loved it! I used eucalyptus b'cause my kids

and I were having a bad cold and we felt great after using it.

Wonder if anyone here has used anything similar?

Cheers!

Daniel
