Guest guest
AND ... Thanks Tracy for bringing this in again - I always enjoy the input on " let's talk about ... " Cypress - the name 'sempervirens' means everliving, meaning evergreen. It is often found in Mediterranean cemeteries and symbolises life after death. It is therefore useful for people who are terminally ill. Cypress is also diuretic - useful for cellulite. For oily skin too, as it's astringent. Someone recently was asking about emmenagoguic oils - here's one. It helps irregular periods and especially heavy ones. Use it in a sprizter for hot flushes in menopause. Good for varicose veins as it's a vasoconstrictor, lightly smoothed on in a gel base, perhaps with Lemon too. Wanda Sellar says it removes psychic blocks and calms anger. Also calms people who talk too much! Perhaps when you get one of those people who insist on talking through a treatment, you could waft some Cypress under their nose and hold those points on the forehead until they stop!
