Guest guest
Can anybody help me with an awful bout of bronchitis -I have been up alot the last few days with a terrible cough that makes me wretch and bring up lots of clear coloured phlegm and that hurts my glands throat and chest - it has not been kept at bay by water or honey and lemon and now I've reluctantly turned to antibiotics to help shift the infection - but can anyone help me sleep through the night?? I have tried lavender on my chest and back and temples and sniffing a drop of eucalyptus on tissue etc but not really helped me much...when I lie down I start to cough and cant stop - I'm going home this weekend to parents and would ask for any advice or suggestions from you all before I go(Friday a.m I travel - 21st) I'm sooooo miserable!! Guest guest
The best thing I found was inhaling Eucalyptus Globulus (sp?),the only one that really works. And getting rib and thoracic spinal adjustments. Also run the lung meridian, using shiatsu. If you want more info on this , let me know. I've had chronic bronchitis for 15 years. It was finally figured out to be from inhaling chicken manure,(not on purpose,... I'm an organic grower) and actually was a fungus infection. (I figured this out myself, after going to 5 different doctors, who all recommended inhalers,)It is now completely gone. But that is another story. During those 15 years, I tried everything. Guest guest
Emily, I use...and sell...Butch's oregano oils. I am not a doctor and I do not give medical advice. I do use oregano oil internally by diluting it 50% with olive oil and taking 2 drops in milk. Kills my cough and bugs. I haven't had an antibiotic in the 4 years I've been using it. Guest guest
I used a blend of cypress (1 drop), eucalyptus (2 drops) and chamomile (2 drops) in 10mls of grape seed oil which worked really well for a bout of bronchitis a couple of months ago. Got better without antibiotics. Suzanna Perth, Western Australia ==================== Emily [lavendula] Friday, 21 April 2000 12:12 AM [AX] bronchitis alert!!
