Guest guest
Hello bizkneads (I'm sure that isn't your real name!) The Association of Aromatherapists Southern Africa describes aromatherapy as: the art and science of using essential oils from plants to improve and maintain the health and well-being of body, mind and spirit. To a client, I would say that we use essential oils from plants in baths, massage, inhalations and compresses as a form of complementary medicine, and that it is a holistic therapy in that it addresses the needs of the whole person. It can be used for specific complaints or to maintain health. Does this help? Helen in Cape Town
