Guest guest
Hi Bronwen, I have finally found this knew I had seen it somewhere, haven't tried it myself, if you give it a go let me know what you think. Mandarin-scented beeswax furniture cream 5ml concentrated lemon washing-up-liquid 150ml water 60g beeswax 300ml turpentine 20 drops mandarin EO *stir washing-up-liquid into water. Slowly melt beeswax with turpentine in heatproof bowl over simmering water. Pour in the soapy water, whisking, to form an emulsion or thick cream. Take off the heat. *As it cools, whisk occasionally to keep consistency smooth. Stir in EO. Pour into bottle. *Apply to furniture with a soft cloth. Leave to dry for 5 minutes then polish with a clean duster. Another option from fragrant pharmacy by Valerie Worwood is 225g Beeswax 600ml turpentine 600ml water 50g pure soap flakes (or grated soap) 10drops or more EO *using bain-marie method heat beeswax, take of heat and add turpentine. *boil water and melt soap, leave until almost cool then add slowly to above mix. Then add EOs Good luck Nerys (Australia)
