A week is a long time for a dog to be sick without professional medical attention. Check with your vet, but I should imagine that you could feed her a raw egg lightly beaten. No milk, no yoghurt - dairy products usually aggravate digestive problems. Only water - as much she wants. She should be drinking *lots* of water. I know you say she is, and she needs it so that she doesn't get dehydrated. Moira, the Faerie Godmother >Sandy White > > > > >------ >LOW RATE, NO WAIT! >Get a NextCard Visa, in 30 seconds! Guest guest
Really agree with the suggestion that your little dog should see a vet. Food wise when digestion was a problem for my old dog he could best manage boiled rice & boiled chicken.(Horrible to prepare since I am vegetarian, but obviously the dog wasn't & he had to have what was best for him.) I really do hope she gets well soon. I do know what a worry it is. Jean
Guest guest
Hi. I'm mostly a lurker and don't know alot about EO's but I do know something about dogs. Give your dog some Pepto Bismol and feed her cooked hamburger and rice. If you haven't been to the vet yet I'd suggest you go. Sometimes dogs have that problem when the weather changes or when you change their diet. Has she gotten into anything foreign lately? Hope this helps.
