Hi Craig

The usual amount is half as many drops as ml (oh dear, here we go again with

mls/ounces). I think one fluid ounce is about 25ml, therefore you need 12 drops

rosemary.

Hope this helps.

Dear Helen,

Hi there! I just caught a portion of this thread and I would like to

add something to what you are talking about concerning measurements. Several

years ago I was doing some research and I came across the information that

European drams are 1/2 size of American drams and the Canadian dram is even

a bit larger (I don't remember right now and I can't find the paper I did -

I was teaching 8th graders about the differences in measurements from

country to country). The American dram basically holds about 110 to 120

drops (1 oz. dropper) while the European dram holds only 60 drops. From this

it appears it is best to buy in ml. rather than in oz. Also there is a great

problem about how many drops are in an ounce. An ounce, depending upon the

dropper size, can vary from about 600 drops to 1000 drops. I hope that this

helps.
