Guest guest
Can someone recommend a book for a very beginner in aromatherapy like me? Also, please forgive me if this is a dumb question but, If someone is allergic to a plant would they likely have problems with the EO's? TIA! Guest guest
Greetings Sharron (in Mexico) There are many many books on the market for aromatherapy and the best ones I would recommend for a beginner are the following: The complete illustrated guide to aromatherapy by Julia Lawless Teach yourself aromatherapy by Denise Whichello Brown Bloomsbury encyclopedia of aromatherapy by Chrissie Wildwood The fragrant pharmacy by Valerie Ann Worwood Aromatherapy by Daniele Ryman I hope this is of help to you. Re your other question, it is possible that one could be allergic to the EO if they are allergic to the plant but do a patch test on the inside of the arm for 24hrs to see if you get a reaction to the oil, if you don't then all is ok and you can use that EO.
