Guest guest
Hello All- In addition to everything else previously said about Grapefruit, it is also 90% Limonene among many other components such as Citronellal. My absolute favorite way to blend Grapefruit is with either Rose Otto or Rose Absolute. Generally, only one or two drops of the rose oil is necessary. It's a very uplifting fragrance and works great when inhaled for irritation or if you're just a little blue. (It also makes a very nice summertime perfume when blended with jojoba oil, or as a body spritzer when mixed with witch hazel.) Guest guest
Hi Suzanna I think Grapefruit is a top note like Bergamot and Lemon. But Orange (both bitter and sweet) and Lime are middle notes. Must try Kim's Rose and Grapefruit. Sounds heavenly. Welcome to all the newbies. Helen in Cape Town
Guest guest
Hi Everybody! I've just been lurking for a while, but now I would love share a tid bit about grapefruit EO. I find that it works well in a massage blend designed to decrease cellulite, because it's so detoxifying and works on the lymphatic system. I just tried a blend of mostly grapefruit with cypress, fennel, lemon and rosemary. I personally find that smelling grapefruit EO helps to stop my craving for chocolate. I'm curious if other people have a similiar experience with grapefruit. Luv, Maureen
