Guest guest
In all the aromatherapy books and information I've looked into, I haven't seen anything about how to stimulate good, vivid dreams. Herb lore has it that mugwort in your pillow is good for dreams. So definitely there is such as thing as inhaling herbal vapors for a nice visit to dreamland. But I've never heard of mugwort EO?!? There must be something in our aromacopeia that will work. All I know is, when I drop clary sage oil on my pillow to help sleep, I get freaked-out dreams. Not really nightmares, just weird and jangly. Now, how about some nice smooth dreams? Spiritual dreams? Even lucid dreams? ===== menuo sauluZe vede pirma pavasareli The Moon married the Sun In the first springtime Talk to your friends online with Messenger. http://im. Guest guest
I've noticed that a drop of Ylang Ylang on my pillow gives me a more peaceful and comforting slumber. I've found it wisest to place the drop of eo on a tissue and put it next to my pillow or on my pillow. That way I can control the distance and " strength " of the aroma to suit my personal needs on the night itself - some nights I want the scent stronger than on other nights. Personally, I was having problems with nightmares, and the only oil I found to relieve them was Clary Sage. The nightmares went away, and I had a deep sleep, don't remember very many dreams, but the ones I had were pleasant. Guest guest
This is the part of aromatherapy that grabs my attention. I just love how nature plays with each of us, differently. I use essential oils in my Hypnotherapy practice and it became crystal clear, right from the get-go, that just because an oils was known to aide in xxxxxxx didn't mean that my clients were going to respond to them positively. And oils that seemed really wrong, according to the books, were just what the doctor ordered ~ for them. This has helped to reinforce my respect for each persons unique needs to guide them through to their next steps in life. As for when I want to get a really gentle nights sleep...... I've found that I really like German Chamomile, Ylang Ylang, or even Orange, Neroli, etc.... Pleasant dreams to all! I reply: Jonas, have your thought of a mix of those oils suggested that feel the most comfortable with you? I have used many of those suggested by others as well as: Pompinella anisum Citrus begamia Tanacetum annuum Santalum album and since I stopped adding salt to my food, I have even added some Piper nigrum to the mix!
