Hi Rhavda,

Thanks to both Rhavda and Moira!

I love the idea of the cotton in the ear and I plan to use it as well

as tell my one daughter-in-law who is 2 months pregnant about it!

The other daughter-in-law is due any day now, if she didn't have her

baby today. This is a totally wonderful way to use eo's! Thanks,

Lynn (Los Angeles)

Is there any safety precautions we should keep in mind for ginger EO? I mean

other than the obvious (it'll stop working) is there any other 'problems'

with using it for a long period of time?

I have ginger, but haven't used it because the smell isn't very appealing.

Does anyone have a good blend (that's good for muscular pain) using ginger

in a massage oil? At this point I'm only using eos in carrier oils, I

haven't looked into making massage creme or anything else.... {still rather

new to aromatherapy}

Thank you!

Feline Blessings,

Zo

Hello,

Using Ginger is very good if you show several of the following symptoms,

which point to Spleen deficiency in :

[The Chinese Spleen absorbs nutrients from food and transforms them into

substances ready to be used by the body, e.g. blood. Wrong eating habits and

a tendency to overwork and exhaust oneself impair the spleen as well as

colds that go untreated and not enough exercise.]

Symptoms of an impaired spleen can include:

*soft stool or chronic diarrhea

*feeling bloated and/or tired after eating

*overweight, gain weight easily

*no energy/ always feeling tired

*feeling depressed

*pale face

*pale tongue, maybe with teethmarks

*pale lips

*cellulite

*flabby connective tissue

*puffy face in the mornings

*no desire to drink

*weak legs

*feeling of heaviness in legs and head

*cold hands and feet

*catching colds easily

*menstrual problems

*tendency to brood

*very emotional, touchy

*eyes over-sensitive to light

Greetings,

Dagmar
