I would like to apologize for scareing or putting

someone off.

I never meant to suggest or indicate in any way

that anyone should ever go off of their insulin

and try any new program. It was only information

that I my self would try in an attempt to actually

heal my pancreas so I wouldn't need to be insulin

dependent all my life.

You could tell if it was working if your body

needed less insulin as time went on. (Diabetics

test for this all the time)

I would never, never, never go off of or suggest

going off of any pharmaceutical or any other

addictive substance cold turkey. Talk about

withdrawals!! even to the point of death.

Lynne, I won't drag this out into a flame war or anything, but you need to know

that in a Type 1 diabetic, the pancreas can not ever start to make insulin

again--this is a permanent condition. I am an RN, BSN and my husband is a type

1 diabetic. Please, please, do not spread this information to people and lead

them to think that they can 'heal' their pancreas. They cannot, and to infer

that they can is irresponsible and dangerous. I would love for there to be a

natural way to heal my husband's diabetes, as I love him with all my heart and

would give anything to increase his chances for a long and happy life.

Unfortunately, that natural cure just doesn't exist yet. .That's all I'm going

to say on the subject, and I apologize to the others on this list for having to

address it again.

Blessed Be!
