Guest guest
Hi Melanie I think you could safely assume that tangerine is very similar to mandarin in content and application. Mandarins originally grew in China; tangerine is a similar fruit grown in the States. So useful particularly for children especially tummy aches and insomnia; good in pregnancy for indigestion; useful on the skin and for cellulite and stretchmarks. As for your lady with osteoporosis, I think your initial intuitive feeling for lavender and marjoram is excellent (how often our gut feeling is the right one!). You're not going to be able to do anything with aromatherapy for the osteoporosis itself, so go for alleviating lower back ache. Ravensara is excellent here too, especially with these two, or either of the camomiles. I have an 85 yr old client with osteporotic fractures all over her body so I was rather worried about massaging her, but was assured by her chiropractor and doctor that normal aromatherapy massage would not harm her. Good luck Helen in Cape Town
