Guest guest
I tend to get a bloody nose from time to time this time of year. Mostly from the dry air and having a cold. I am on a CPAP air breathing machine when I sleep and it has a humidifier. can anyone recommend some I can add to the water to help my nose feel better? Have a great day! Guest guest
Hi John, I recently mentioned something similar to my Dr. (an osteopath) and he told me to take Lysine (amino acid) every day to help the condition. Since most of us need to boost all of minerals and amino acids that makes sense to me. Interesting enough, I don't wake up with the bleeding or dried blood anymore. And it's inexpensive! As for what to add to your machine...... probably the same as for colds and all. Lavender, German Chamomile, Lemon and or peppermint. These molecules are very soothing to the sinus cavities as well as the throat and all. Take care of yourself up there in winter wonderland Blessings to you and yours, Lynn Thursday, December 09, 1999 6:20 AM [AX] Dry nose " John G.O'Toole " <jotxxy I tend to get a bloody nose from time to time this time of year. Guest guest
Dear John, Ig you have a crock pot, get it out and fill it with water and let it run all night. It puts the right amount of moisture into the air without having to get up in the middle of the night to refill it. You can also put several drops of Lavender EO in your crock pot to help you sleep better. Crock pots or potpourri pots get hot enough so that they don't grow mold, fungus, and other things the way a humidifier does. I have been using this method with great success for over 15 years. You can change your eos as you like and if you have guests, place your crock pot in the other part of the house with a couple of drops of orange, greapefruit, cinnamon leaf, lavender, and 1 drop of geranium eos. Things will smell great and you will have happy guests. Have a great weekend! Rhavda Cooper Emison Arlington, Texas
