Hi Everyone,

Here are things that have worked for me on the various subjects being

discussed:

Insomnia--Aromatherapy doesn't work alone, I have to combine it with

chinese herbs and a tea that I get from a multi-level marketing company

that is made of chinese herbs, the most significant being jujube date.

But the oil I use is clary sage--I found, like Eva it wasn't working

anymore for me at a certain point. I stopped for a while, now I find I

can use it again. I diffuse it into the room (just in a candle heated

ceramic diffuser) 1/2 hour before bed. If I'm really bad, I put drops

on it straight on my pillow and pajamas. I also add straight drops of

valerian EO onto my pillow as well. When I wasn't using clary, I made a

massage oil for my feet of roman chamomile, valerian and lavender. Did

a foot rub, it worked pretty good (but clary is my favorite).

Cold Sore--I put a straight drop of geranium right on it the time I had

one. Worked for me.

Colds--I find filling my sink with hot water with some tea tree and

thyme and doing a " steam " with a towel over my head clears congestion.

For sore throat, I gargle with one cup of water with 2 drops of

sandalwood, 2 drops of lemon. Works wonderfully.

Hope that helps. This is, of course, all said in my own humble

opinion. I've been using the trial and error method for a while.

Learning as I go along....Having fun all the way!!
