Diffuser-Help me find a good one

Hi,

I hope you can help me. I want to buy a diffuser

as a gift for the holidays. I have visited several webs sites

looking for a good one. I do not know very much about them,

but I do know of a few things that I do NOT want, for example:>

1.) Open Flames

2.) Metal in contact with EO

3.) dilute the EO

4.) Something difficult to clean

Additionally, there are a few things that I " think "

are important. But, being a novice, I'm not sured if

these things are important or not??

1.) A manufacturer with a good long standing

reputation for quality and durability.

2.) A unit with a quiet fan

3.) A unit that is " relatively " easy to clean.

4.) I am also looking for one that uses oils like a miser.

5.) Would be safe for a investigative kitty

I have seen the Amrita Nebulizer and am considering the

" Tranquility Model " since it is so quiet. I am

concerned about it running all the time and will

likely buy a timer for it.

Here's my question: Is the Amrita a good company? If so,

is this model a good choice. Should I look at one of their

other units instead of the Tranquility?

Based on my criteria, are there other companies/diffusers that

I should be considering??

As far as my budget: If possible, I'd like to

limit my spending to between $30 and $100; of course less is better.

Please help. Also, it would be very helpful if you could

suggest someplace where I can buy one (web, store, too-free 800 #, etc).

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Peter

Hi Peter,

Here's my take - Buy it! I have their deluxe model and love it! It's quiet.

It's easy. They stand by their products. Very wise not to put heat to your

essential oils. It kills the healing quality of the molecules as they drift

into your body. The tranquility unit is one that one of my dear friends has and

he loves his. He put a timer on his as well. Leaves it on for about 10 minutes

at a time and it's great. Oh yea, Amrita is online at

http://www.amrita.net/

Have fun!

Lynn
