Guest guest
Hi John and Jeannie How difficult it is to say what you need in the way of essential oils to start you off on this adventure - everyone will tell you their personal favourites! But here are some ideas: Why not try first with a couple from each category - you can build up stocks as you go along. Flower oils: start with lavender and ylang ylang Herbs: rosemary, marjoram Spices: ginger and juniper Woods: sandalwood and tea tree Gums: frankincense Citrus: lemon and bergamot This is my personal categorisation; you could use a different one, like top, middle and base notes, and buy a selection of them. Then you'll need carriers - start with almond oil. And a measuring glass, calibrated in mls or ounces, from the pharmacy. Sorry I can't help you with where to get them as I'm not on your continent. Have fun! BTW Jeannie, how about vetiver as an interesting base note that's not too expensive? Helen in Cape Town
Guest guest
Thank you, Helen. I can just hear you speaking as you wrote this email. I love this accent. I will try the sandalwood and vetiver, to see which I might like. I appreciate your help. Off to shop. :-) Jeannie
