Guest guest
>>What I find helpful in addition to my EOs for the sleep issue is SAM-e, an amino acid that helps create both serotonin and melatonin the ine body. Aloe vera juice three times a day, plus dietary change helps with the digestive issues..... along with licorice and alfalfa. Need more? Just ask. I'm so much better (been out of it since early 1990) now I think I may even get a life back. I use Kava Kava for muscle spasms along with very hot baths with Epsom salts and EOs. If you have a good juicer, have him try a juice fast for several days and see if that doesn't help with the digestive issues.>> Greetings all, Sherri and Foxhillers, thank you for the suggestions. I'll look for the papaye enzyme tablets.... Now for SAM-e, I'm not sure, I've read contradictory articles on this. Some say it's not safe or has not been tested throughly (I'd have to look up specifics - from what I remember, it's also rather pricy)Are you taking them, or know of anyone that it works for? Hmmm, aloe vera juice... I love the plant! I'll have to see if our local store has this as well Ok, and a question re: Kava Kava - what is the recommended dosage? Is there any side effects to long term use? We recently bought some capsules because it tastes so horrible (even tried mixing with honey) and makes your tongue numb. Also, I read somewhere that Kava Kava has to be mixed with cold water. There's some herbal teas that have Kava Kava in them - does that mean it's useless?! Thank you all for all the help you've given me. This list has been wondeful, especially Foxhillers! Feline Blessings and Loves, Zo

My rheumatologist suggested it September 30th, I've been taking it since and it has made a big difference for the better in many areas of my life. It's been tested and used in Germany for several decades and is being tested in the US as well as being prescribed and recommended by some respected docs. Do a web search or go to the bookstore. Yes, it can be pricey, but I feel it's worth more than most of the other stuff I've been prescribed or taken in terms of effectiveness. The first brand I got from Sam's Club, 60 tabs for $50. Now I get another brand with B vitamins and cucurmin that works better for me and costs $30. for 60 tabs. Remember lots of EOs haven't been " tested thoroughly " either and lots of drugs that have been have horrendous side effects. What are your expectations? <<Hmmm, aloe vera juice... I love the plant! I'll have to see if our local store has this as well >> K Mart and Wal-Mart have it for $7.00 per gallon <<Ok, and a question re: Kava Kava - what is the recommended dosage? It's better than most of the antispasmotic drugs I've tried and no side effects when used appropriately. Follow the directions on the label. Kava Kava is an herb from the South Seas that is used in spiritual ceremonies and has been for centuries. <<There's some herbal teas that have Kava Kava in them - does that mean it's useless?!>> I don't understand what you are asking here? Herbal teas are not useless, if they were, they wouldn't sell. However, the amount of Kava Kava in a tea blend is probably not a therapeutic dose. << Thank you all for all the help you've given me.
