I think your friend in her second trimester could also inhale eucalyptus and tea

tree; lavender would be OK too so long as the pregnancy is stable. But I'd

leave

out the peppermint and rosemary. And only use half as much as usual for a

healthy

adult. If she's healthy, then it's fine to use any essential oil that isn't

classed

as an emmenagogue, in half the quantity. BUT no essential oils internally. She

could also vapourise tea tree or eucalyptus for her children, and keep them off

dairy.
