Guest guest
Hi guys! I need to make a disinfectant spray for my bathrooms & kitchen & I can't use bleach or other spray disinfectants b/c of my asthma. I thought about using rubbing alcohol with maybe some tea tree & /or lemon myrtle in a 16 oz sprayer, but I don't know how much eo's to use. Any suggestions?? Thanks for any help! Guest guest
Hi Kati, I've used a small 4 oz spray bottle and filled it with about 15 drops or so of lemon. Works great for me and I love the smell!! With your suggestion I'm gonna add about 12 drops of myrtle too. I love myrtle, especially if I have a cold/cough. It's the best for me! I'm not as big into melaleuca as others are, but I did use it on a burn when I was down in Australia a few years ago and it was great! Wishing you well in all ways, Lynn >>Kati Toney <tktoney Hi guys! I clean my tile floors with 3 drops of Lemongrass and we do not have insects, bugs and any of the other wonderful creatures in nature coming in. Lemongrass __ chemical constituents: Monoterpene aldehydes (60-85%), citrals (75%), neral (27%) and Geranial(46%). This is all I can think of at this time with out my print out in front of me. PROPERTIES: analgesic, anti-flammatory, antiseptic, insect repellent, revitalizer, sedative, tonic and vasodialtor. Be careful as it can also cause skin irritation, although I have not experienced this and I use it all the time! Hope this helps, take care! Best Regards, Dianna L.
