Guest guest
Hi Emily This is what I could find out about Tagetes - Tagetes minuta also known as taggette, Taget, French Marigold , African Marigold, or simply Marigold is a hazardous oil, which because of ambiguity about its name, is sometimes confused with the English Marigold or Calendula ( Calendula Officinailis). Calendula does not exist in the form of an essential oil : Very small amounts of an absolute are sometimes made, but it is most likely to be found as a infused oil which is very safe and valuable for skin problems. Tagetes on the other had, is a toxic oil, containing very high portion of ketones. I t also contains some furocoumarins, which are photosensitising agents, when buying any oil labelled Marigold be certain that you know the botanical origin, to avoid a potentially dangerous confusion. - this is from the Aromatheraphy A-Z Hello William and Emily I am also from kentish origin A smile is a light in the window of your face that shows, that your heart is at home.
