Aromatherapy as it pertains to Christianity

Sorry I took so long to respond... just trying to make ends meet!

 

I am glad you agree with me that God made all the flowers, herbs and plants that

ARE aromatherapy, and that He made them for us to use to their full potential.

I do not think of aromatherapy as " new age " or anything else for that matter,

except for a holistic healing modality.

 

As for reiki, I am pretty new to the subject, aside from knowing a reiki master,

and I believe that the energy that reiki practitioners channel through their

hands to be the very SAME healing energy that comes out of any spiritual healer,

whether they call themselves Christians or not. At our church, we lay hands on,

and when we do, our hands heat up and we feel the hair on our arms stand up, and

the person often reports results. It all depends on what the practitioner and

the receiver BELIEVE. God doesn't do miracles, signs or wonders for people who

are skeptical. I am planning to become a reiki master and integrate reiki and

aromatherapy into my naturopathy practice (when I finish with my Ph.D. which

is a couple of years away yet).

 

By the way, I like this list, as everyone seems to be pleasant and caring, not

like the newsgroup where everybody likes to blow fire and throw knives. Thanks

guys for being that way.
