Guest guest
Hi Emily. You say you are an aromatherapy student. What sort of course is it, and is it a professional one, leading to you becoming an aromatherapist? I just ask cos I am gathering info at present and the only local one I've been told of is the I.H.H.T . Maybe it depends where you live in the UK. I'm from Sunderland. Welcome to the list, Emily, I am new to it too! Melanie

I originally intended to do it at some 'approved' establishment .... Shirley Price is an example but there are lots more who the AOC recognise. I have actually started a degree course BSc Complementary Therapies (Aromatherapy) ....... think it's going to be hard work, but I am a nurse...... the authorities seem to want all RNs educated to degree level, & I decided I'd rather do a degree in something I wanted to do , & kill 2 birds with 1 stone. There are a few degree/ higher education courses in existence, although not in abundance. Good luck in whatever you do. Best wishes, Jean
