For those of you who do not know this man, he is a WEALTH of information, a friend, mentor ... and ... an inspiration to me! As for Vitex EO, from what I understand, Crete is the only area in the world right now that is producing the eo from the *fruits* of this plant .... and Janina's supply is very very limited. Furthermore, she has only a few number of people who she now does business with here in North America. Her family owned/operated distillation capabilities are very small. I am fortunate to be " part " of that. There is only VERY SLIGHT amount of this oil available. If you need a source, please feel free to contact me. It will be a few days before pricing will be available however. Sorry. There IS another source for the eo, but from what I understand, it comes mainly from the leaf .... NOT the fruits. That source is Kurt Schnaubelt of PIA. His oil is very expensive ... but this is certainly expected for such rare varieties of eo's. One final note ... it is indeed the *extract* that has been studied but new research is cropping up regarding the essential oil. I am very excitedly awaiting results of other studies. Blessings to all of you ..... Susan / Changes Within

You can see some nice images on Nature Helps webpage in the " links " section of this community. I need to adapt some texts and so, but it's almost ready! :-) Regards, Michel Vanhove

Guest guest
Dear Susan, Gritman Corporation out of Houston, Texas also carries Vitex EO. I talked with Meg, the owner before I bought some from her and she said that her Vitex was from Turkey and distilled from the flowers of the plant. You can find her on the web under Gritman. I thought that you might like to add this information to your list of sources. Thanks, Rhavda Emison, Scents of Success Arlinton, Texas >Changes Within <changes > >At 01:46 PM 12/10/99 +0100, you wrote: >>Michel Vanhove <michel >>I am just in the process of making a web page for Janina Sorensson from >>Danmark, she distills different herbs in Crete, also Vitex Agnus Castus. >There IS another source for the eo, but from what I understand, it comes >mainly from the leaf ....
