Hi! Everyone--

I live in North Texas. My husband and I have lived in Texas for about 14

years. We have four children and would love to be blessed with another. I

am here to learn all I can about essential oils and aromatherapy. I look

forward with great enthusiasm to learning from all of you who have

knowledge to share.

We are a family who strives to live harmoniously close to our earth. We

have always lived gently with nature. I know and embrace the herbal ways. I

am thankful to have been raised in ways by my great-grandmother and mother

that have taught me how to live and be strengthened by what the Creator has

given us to use. My own mother was born 3 weeks early and at 1 month of age

developed pneumonia. My grandmother took her to medical doctors who treated

her, but said they did not give her much hope. My great-grandmother made a

special herbal decoction and spoon-fed this to my mother. She soon

recovered her health and thrived as she grew. I could share many more

stories of our family's healing and health through these sacred ways, but I

am not certain this is the place to do so.

I have always been deeply drawn the scent of flowers, plants, grasses,

woods and resins. I have used them for one reason or another in my life,

but have never gotten deeply involved with the formal study of

aromatherapy. I think this list would be a good place to begin. I have also

purchased several books and would like to take a course also.

Thank you for having me here and assisting me on this journey.
