Hi Everyone!

Thank you all so much for your suggestions for carrying cases for

essential oils. I am going into " the big city " (Calgary) next week and

will put all your ideas to good use and look around for something to be

creative with.

Paula was looking for information on various oils. My favorite of the

bunch is Clary Sage. I first used it because I had insomnia with awful

nightmares. It had gone on for weeks and I was getting **so** ill. I

read somewhere about clary sage being good for sleeping, so I took it.

I experienced immediate relief from the nightmares ( I used my diffuser

about 1/2 hour before bed and when I went in my bedroom the whole room

was filled with its marvelous scent). The insomnia went away in a few

days. Every so often I have bouts of the insomnia again -- the clary

sage has completely obliterated the nightmares--and I find that I now

have to combine Chinese herbs and St. John's Wort to fully keep the

insomnia at bay. But it certainly had a profound effect on me.

I have a question for the group--my father is going in on the 22nd for a

hip replacement. He will be in the hospital for 1 week, then will be

fairly housebound for 3 months except for going to physiotherapy. Any

suggestions for oils, both in the hospital and for when he gets home?

Keep in mind, he is **very** skeptical to say the least about my oils.

So I need something that would help without attracting a lot of

attention by the nurses, doctors, etc. and that has a scent he wouldn't

object too. I cannot use anything that would raise high blood pressure,

as my mother has very high blood pressure. I look forward to your

expertise!!
