Hello, I am Don Norris, I have been lurking and learning for

some time

now. I think it is time to introduce myself. I am

a 53 year old family man. My beautiful loving wife, Kay and I

have two

sons, Chris and Greg. We are very proud of

both! I was born in Wichita, Kansas. I Graduated with a BS in

Education

and a MS of Vocational Education from the

University of Pitsburg, Kansas. I taught in public schools at

the

junior

high level for 13 years.

I have loved and collected crystals since I was about 10, so

I have been

doing it for

over 40 years. Their power to interest people,

amaze people, to provoke thought and wonderment in every person

that is

lucky enough to have the time to really

look at them has captivated me. What impresses me more is how

even

people that express no interest in them at

all, once they see one up close, must touch it, hold it, and

soon

are feeling it. I have been lucky enough to go

down into mines and collect some myself, and unlucky enough to

get

stuck in a sink hole cave for over 3 hours once

while trying to collect them. I really thought I was going to

die in

that

cave.

I also teach silversmithing and jewelry making. I have my own

two

classrooms, one in Boulder and one in Loveland,

Colorado. I call them the Colorado Academy of Silversmithing

and Art

Metal. My web site is:

http://www.frii.com/~dnorris. Please visit it and browse

around. I

even have a free 6 part Steam Casting Class

on my site for any one who would like to make sterling silver

jewelry at

home. This is a method that only costs about $40.00

to make all the equipment and tools. There are many

photographs of

Colorado, sunsets, animals, flowers and birds for

your pleasure and free for downloading and use as you wish. I

love

hummingbirds and there is a special section for them.

I also own and moderate many specific lists on the web. My

largest is

Jewelry Making and Silversmithing for

Beginners, Rockhounds, Students, and Small Shop Owners, with

nearly 300

members. If you are interested in

learning silversmithing, I invite you to visit my site and join

the

list.

I feel like this is the time to introduce my self because for

several

years I have wanted to begin producing jewelry with Moon

Crystals. It

would be sterling silver

and gold jewelry that would include Moon

Crystals, crystal that are charged by a complete lunar cycle.

I just

felt that these crystals would be the most powerful

crystals for healing, protection, and for any metaphysical and

spiritual

functions. For one reason or another, I just did

not feel the timing was right.

Then at the September annual rock show in Denver I came across

one

vender that was selling some of the best, most

perfect, clearest quartz “jewelry points” that I have seen for

many

years. They are beautiful. I just had the feeling that

I must purchase them. Something just told me this was the

time! I knew

that there was a lunar cycle just a few days

away and thought this must be the signal for me to purchase

these

crystals and place them in the moonlight for that

lunar cycle. I purchased all the best ones they had, about

200. I then

took them

home that night and went on the internet to

get information about the next lunar cycle. As I was searching

for

sites

about the moon and the lunar cycle, I

suddenly realized that the present lunar cycle is the last

lunar cycle

of the last 2000 years! The most incredible

feeling of joy swept over me. I am 54, and all my life, I

just wished

that I

could live until the turn of the century. Until I

researched the lunar cycles, it just had not really sunk in

that it was

not just the turn of the century, but the end of

2000 years. I became so excited about this last lunar cycle of

the last

2000 years, I just could not go to sleep. I was so

happy that I had purchased those beautiful crystals.

I went back to the rock show the next day, I was hoping to find

some

amber to cut and polish into custom stones.

There was one rock show on the other side of town that I was

not going

to visit, but then just felt as if I had to. The

first dealer that I stopped at was a quartz dealer that I have

purchased

quartz crystals from for over 20 years. I casual

looked at the crystal because, of course, they are beautiful.

The

crystals that come from this mine in Hot Sulfur

Springs, Arkansas are the best in the World, in my opinion.

They also

had the nicest crystal points that I have even

seen.

I suddenly received an inspiration to purchase 2000 crystals,

one for

each year of the last 2000 years--if they had

enough of these perfect natural quartz crystals. Luckily, they

did have

enough,

counting the ones that I purchased the day

before. I took this as a sign that this must happen. I must

purchase

these crystals and begin Moon Crystals with this

last lunar cycle of the last 2000 years! I did, and they are

out in the

moonlight right now, soaking in the power of this

last lunar cycle of the last 2000 years. I live just outside,

and up a

mountain from Estes Park, Colorado. I believe that the fact the

crystals

are being powered by moonlight right on the Continental Divide

makes

these Moon Crystals even more special.

My son, Greg and I, have designed a beautiful sterling silver

pendant

for these crystals. Each portrays the four cycles

of the moon, New Moon, Waxing First Quarter, Full Moon and

Waning Last

Quarter. We designed this pendant so

that the wearer could turn it as the moon goes through its

cycle. We

are both very proud of these pendants.

If you have an interest in seeing them, I have taken photos of

each of

the 2000 crystals, before I put them out in the

moon light. You can see for yourself just how beautiful these

natural

quartz Moon Crystal are by simply going to:
