Guest guest
In the same tone, how and where do others store their EOs and fixed oils at home? Right now mine are sitting in a shoe box in the floor of my walk in closet - the darkest and most insulated place in the house. It is always cool there as it is in the center of the house and has no windows. Gently, Pam ****************** Pam, I, too, keep my EO's in a dark, cool place. However, I keep them all separate in glass spice jars. I thought this might keep down any blending, or tainting. So far the sandalwood, lavender, and patchouli are mellowing like they should, and the others are staying true to form . . . and getting used quite frequently too. <s> One question I do have. Lavender can easily get too strong for me to handle. Most recipes use too much for me. I can remember my Grandmother using Yardley's, and it would make me quite ill as a child. However, I do find that the essential oil is not as " abrasive " for me now. Does anyone have any thoughts on blends that would allow me to enjoy the benefits of lavender without such strong effects?
