In the same tone, how and where do others store their EOs and fixed oils at

home? Right now mine are sitting in a shoe box in the floor of my walk in

closet - the darkest and most insulated place in the house. It is always

cool there as it is in the center of the house and has no windows.

Gently,

Pam,

I, too, keep my EO's in a dark, cool place. However, I keep them all

separate in glass spice jars. I thought this might keep down any blending,

or tainting. So far the sandalwood, lavender, and patchouli are mellowing

like they should, and the others are staying true to form . . . and getting

used quite frequently too. <s>

One question I do have. Lavender can easily get too strong for me to

handle. Most recipes use too much for me. I can remember my Grandmother

using Yardley's, and it would make me quite ill as a child. However, I do

find that the essential oil is not as " abrasive " for me now. Does anyone

have any thoughts on blends that would allow me to enjoy the benefits of

lavender without such strong effects?

Sara.
