Hi Robin and List.... We have Emus here in Wisconsin.....In fact, a few months ago, one got loose and amazed a bunch of folks at a fast food place in Central Wisconsin.....not used to seeing an avian that size...... Anyway....for a short intro.....I live in Milwaukee.....got into Aromatherapy after I healed a nasty oven burn with some Lavender a friend gave to me.... For my day job I do inside Industrial Sales (MRO and some Production).... I finance my AT forays via my overtime earnings...Despite my sig line, I do not have an AT business.....but if I ever do, I think it would be a great business name.... Don't really use any kind of EO carrying device, but one handy thing I came up with..... Take a scrap 2 x 4 and get some of those flat boring bits about the same size as your bottles.....bore a bunch of holes into the 2 x 4..... The bottoms of the holes turn out flat, so the bottles sit nicely in there.. When I blend, I load this thing up with whatever bottles I need from my EO drawer and transport them to where I'm gonna do my blending.....learned early on that my juggling talent is somewhat limited.... You can put them in order....and this way they don't tend to tip on you.. And sooner or later....you're going to tip an open EO bottle over otherwise.... Especially helps when your EO's happen to be in those taller skinny Boston Round type bottle....and you're sticking the dropper or pipette in and trying to hold the EO bottle and transfer to the blend bottle....and wondering where your third hand is.... I sanded my blocks down and finished with gunstock oil....stands up pretty well to the occasional spill or dribble.... -- Gary Bourbonais L'Hermite Aromatique

I personally don't know any one of them that still have Emus, and assume that they lost big. (sorry, I know this isn't the EMU list, but couldn't help passing that along) Change the name of the list? What's in a name? Rose Otto (or Rose Bulgaris) by any other name would smell as sweet!
