Guest guest
Well, to get the ball rolling - I am one who has been reading and not contributing. I live in Michigan with my husband, pets and son. We have three boys between us - 24, 21 and 6. I have been interested in alternative medicine for about five years, and whenever I can, I go that route. Most of the time, I've opted for the tea or capsule form of herbs, and just in the last few months begun to pick up a few EOs and am learning about using them. Your messages have already answered so many questions before I had a chance to ask them. One was the idea of using them internally. I had been concerned about putting any eo in my 6 YO son's bath, because I didn't know if it would bother if he did get it in his mouth or drink it. From what I'm reading, most oils would be ok diluted down that far in a bath should he get it in his mouth (can't be any worse than store-bought bubbles I'll bet). On tee tree - my first thought is for fungal infections. I used it to fight a yeastie beastie successfully (my first 'success' with EOs!). We are smoker's here and would love to see a formula that might help fight this bigger beast - help us quit. And, last, for now. Anxiety help, too. (I'm thinking this will fall in with the quitting smoking) At the dentist office, I nearly fainted just from anxiety. No pain, just uncomfortable with the closeness I think. I had put on a dab of lavender an hour or so before I went in, but it didn't quite do the trick. Thank you, Tracy, for encouraging us lurkers to speak up - > Dear Friends, > > After receiving a couple of letters from members, I have felt the need to add a rule to the list. > > ****Anyone who has NOT posted to the list AT LEAST ONCE, MUST introduce themselves to either the LIST or ME.****
