:Are you looking for laundry borax?(20 mule team) It works just fine, and

is much less expensive than the USP type. Here is a recipe for bath salts

without borax:

1tbsp baking soda

2tbsp epsom salts

3tbsp Sea salt (Dead or other, or whatever coarse salt you can find)

Optional: you can add a few drops glycerin before adding EO's-helps keeps

it from caking up

Stir well, and add up to 10d total of your favorite EO'(s).

Stir well again, let air dry for five minutes or so

Use immediately, or store in air tight container. If you keep for a month

or more, it tends to lose much of its aroma, but retains the theraputic

effect.

Never thought of using powdered milk in salts, thanks for the idea. Will

try some powdered goats milk in my next batch.

Oil for Menstrual Cramps

5d lavender EO

3d marjoram EO (or 3d geranium EO)

2d chamomile EO (either Ger or Rom)

2d ginger EO

If you have it, can find it, or can afford it, substitute 2d of helicrysum

for 2d of the lavender

1 oz vegetable oil (I use grapeseed)

Rub liberally on painful area. This has also helped for the pain of

fibromalgia, and would probably be a good oil for the pain and inflamation

of CTS. It also is good for lower back pain.

I find it great that you have MD's as aromatherapy patients(clients). I

have a friend that has 3 dermatoligists as clients for her handcrafted soap

(scented with EO's)
