Guest guest
Hi Moira You wrote: < I would like these young people (St. John Ambulance Cadets) to learn a bit about aromatherapy, but I myself lack formal qualifications. > I suggest you contact the Association of Aromatherapists Southern Africa at aoasa for a list of their registered teachers in Gauteng. One of these might well be able to do a short course for your Cadets. They could also point you in the right direction regarding your own training - this will become necessary when the government opens the register soon, and all aromatherapists will have to be registered in order to practise as one. Of course, as you are a nurse already, you may not want to practise as an aromatherapist as such. Unfortunately there is no course in the country as yet that teaches aromatherapy in nursing, as there is in the UK.
