Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I am an expert on earaches as I have a 3 year old son who has chronic sinus infections which also contributes to earaches. This is how I treat him & it works wonders... I mix up about 1 tsp. to 1 Tbsp. of olive oil & add Lavender eo to it (just a couple of drops). I have also put in a drop of Roman Chamomile, & I have used Ravensara when it was viral. But most of the time I just use straight Lavender. When it is time to administer, I warm the olive oil mixture up & soak a cotton ball in it. Squeeze the excess out & firmly, but gently, put it in the ear (not so much that it will get stuck.) I put it in his ears at nap time & bed time & he has gone from a 102 fever to feeling like his normal self in less than 24 hours with this remedy. My uncle also founded one of the most prestigious Pediatric Clinics here as well as the Center for Human Development. I consulted him about this even though he is a retired MD, & he said I was doing the best thing! I was so excited, a medical professional saying this to me! He said back when he was practicing, pharmaceutical companies weren't like they are today. Back then, doctors didn't prescribe things till absolutely necessary, they turned to more natural approaches. When I was a kid, he told my mom to make me a cough syrup out of bourbon, honey, & lemon (light on the bourbon of course >) ) & do you know that is still my cough syrup to this day? It works! Anyway, didn't mean to get off on that tangent, but if you have any questions about the earache please feel free to email me privately! Always in faith, Kati
