Guest guest
Hi Wendy Yes I think aromatherapy can really help in cases of depression - and anorexia. The anti-depressant essential oils can be used in massage and baths and inhalations. Neroli is the great anxiety-beater, also ylang ylang, bergamot, rose otto, and of course others, depending on need. The touch therapy itself is of great importance too. I believe that in such cases as this (as well as many others), aromatherapy can be truly complementary, supporting any other treatments that the patient might be having, a part of an approach of integrated medicine. The Bach Flower Remedies (and indeed, flower remedies from anywhere) can also be taken orally, as well as used in massage along with essential oils.
