Guest guest
Dear Jaimi, Cranial Sacral Therapy uses the deep rhythum of the body to access and 'treat' the body disfunctions. A fall on your tail bone in childhood can cause migraine headaches as an adult. CST uses light pressure - 5 grams - to gently stretch the connective tissue of the cranial bones thus allowing normal movement. It is not like the fast crunching of some chiropractic methods. Although after people get off my table, they tell me later of their bodies 'popping in' like magic. CST sets up the atmosphere for the body to realign it self without trauma and the EO's just make it that much better. Years ago a teacher said 'our memory isn't just stored in the brain, it is stored in every cell in our bodies'. The EO's address this. As the CST allows for the releasing of these old' thought patterns' the EO's assist in dealing with them before the bodycan snatch it back and restore it. Whe I explain it to people ready to get on the table I tell then that i am going to make them taller. I will be stretching them out, pulling on both legs and arms, but my main work is from the top of the head to the tailbone. Sorry if I got wordy. I just love the work.
