Marjo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first thing would be to find out what the source of the anxiety could be, and getting rid of it from your life. Popping pills and gulping liquids isn't the answer. But to relax you in the meantime, there are many teas & tinctures that have a calming effect: chamomile, catnip, passionflower, valerian, kava kava. There are also essential oils such as lavender, sandalwood and rosemary when taken aromatheraputically can help relax your body and mind. I have also heard wonderful things about a bach's flower remedy called 'rescue remedy' - it is a liquid blend of flower essences that can be taken internally or put onto pulse points. I have also seen it available in a creme formula. It can be found in many healthfood/vitamin/herb shops. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Try a B complex to raise your acetylcholine levels to help balance your epinephrine levels. Oatstraw and rice bran are good B viatmin sources, and they also are good silica sources which is good for the nerves. Stay away from stimulants such as coffee, tea, chocolate, kola nut, guarana, ma huang (ephedra), and super blue-green algae. Also stay away from aspartame (Equal, Nutrasweet, etc.). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
