Guest guest
Hi Jonas, > > Also, what would be the best massage oil blend for chronic > lower back pain? Here's some of what I use for my low back. I've learned that much of my lower back pain is digestion related so I kind of work it with my colon and liver in mind. Single oils of marjoram, nutmeg, basil, Roman chamomile and / peppermint. I just add 3 - 5 drops of whichever (normally peppermint and chamomile or marjoram) to a tablespoon or so of carrier oil. Massage on colon, stomach or on the reflex points on the feet. Only on really bad occasions might I use a compress or hot pack. However, it really depends on what is the cause for the back pain. Herniated Disk? Nerve Damage? Lumbago? These call for different oils. Like, just for an old fashioned aching back maybe clary sage with lavender, or peppermint, geranium or basil. Kinda depends. And also, it really takes each of getting more in touch with our own body language and listening to our body talk to us via intuition to find what is right for each of us. Oh, so much to learn!!!! Wishing you well, in all ways. Guest guest
Thanks to Lynn for help with my question about EOs for the liver. I went reading as many aromatherapy books as I could find -- different ones said different things -- and the two oils they agreed on the most for hepatic benefit were Rose and Rosemary. Also maybe Camomile. I experimented putting together some Rose & Rosemary oils in almond oil to make a massage oil specifically for therapeutic massage on the liver. If anyone could suggest the best possible formula for this idea, I would be very grateful. Also, what would be the best massage oil blend for chronic lower back pain? Thank you. ===== menuo sauluZe vede pirma pavasareli The Moon married the Sun In the first springtime
