Guest guest
Dear all, You may be interested in some work that we have undertaken in Oxford. Over the course of 8 years over we assessed the effectiveness of aromatherapy during childbirth in over 8000 mothers. We think that this is one of the largest studies ever reported within the field of complementary medicine. We are very excited about the results. Mothers reported that the oils were very beneficial. We also found that 2 particular oils had the effect of dulling pain which meant that the mothers needed no additional pain relief. I am sure that thiswill come as no suprise to many of the rs to this list but the medical fraternity here were amazed. The study has actually made our national press. If anyone is interested in reading any more about this then you can visit our web site: http://www.brookes.ac.uk/hc/ochcrd/uaimp.html Thanks for the interest, best wishes, Andy Lloyd
