Guest guest
Hey everyone, A few days ago we had only 6 members, now we are up to 27. I am happy to say that this list is growing but I have not seen anyone posting. Of course, you do not have to post but I hope that with time this list will have many messages filled with questions and answers and lots of teaching and learnings. Please share what you know or want to know. I love to learn. Thank you. Tracy Please invite your friends. To Post:
Guest guest
Hi everyone, Thought I'd do a brief introduction since our thoughtful listowner prompted me :-) My name is Jean and I am particularly interested in aromatherapy for healing. I have a chronic illness and am plagued by insomnia, chronic pain (muscle aches and joint pain) and the depression and stress that often accompany such an illness. I am very grateful to have found this list; I am eager to learn and am receptive to any suggestions. I use other alternative methods of healing, including massage, yoga, herbs, etc., but for the purpose of this list I am looking forward to learning more about aromatherapy and the use of essential oils. I use a Tisserand air diffuser and have used lavender oil for stress and fatigue, and it sometimes helps me get a good night's sleep. I like sandalwood, clary sage, and jasmine. I also love Kneipp herbal bath preparations. I have a primer book but it's upstairs right now and I'm too tired too search for it. I have jasmine at work I put in a potpourri container for a more subtle scent that lifts my mood without overwhelming my co-workers. Peace, light and healing to all, Jean
